DesignED™️

DesignED is a “3D” immersive experience for high school and college students. We provide the opportunity to directly engage them with design institutions, platforms, companies, and other relevant figures in a culturally and historically rich context.
DesignED Bloc™️
This unique, multi-week program transcends the boundaries of traditional education, catering to an audience of high school students, educators, college students, designers, and professionals. This program offers an array of specialized workshops and thematic explorations, each week tailored to a specific group.

DesignED™
The first edition of DesignED was launched within the framework of Design Week RD and the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS). In Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, ILADI offered an immersive educational experience that stimulated creative intellect through workshops and lectures, allowing students to explore creative career options and programs by connecting them with the art and design industry in Latin America. The workshops and guidance were provided by leading local and international design universities, including CHAVÓN School of Design, UNIBE, Istituto Europeo di Design, and IE University.
DesignED Bloc™
DesignED Bloc is a call for participants from four sectors of education to tackle two major challenges faced by creatives in LATAM CARIB: limited academic offers in creative careers and the creative study taboo present in our society. This program offers high school students exposure to new creative skills, inspiration, and resources. University attendees can benefit from an academic international mobility program to identify potential specialized degrees. Educators will receive resources and inspiration that they can integrate into their classrooms. Self-taught art and design entrepreneurs can use this as an opportunity for professional development and grow their brands and products.
